Life behind bars

Ok, I fully accept that this is not the best photo in the world. I was walking to an appointment and glimpsed this early morning scene of the viaduct from behind some wire fencing. It reminded me how fortunate we are in the UK to have so much freedom in so many ways: where we can go, what we can do, who we can talk to, what we can say, what we can eat, who we can be. We should never take that for granted or forget that it is our responsibility to use our freedoms wisely.

Powerful words, H. We have a saying here in the USA: Freedom isn’t free; someone paid for you and me.

Don’t know who created this adage, but it carries a lot of weight.
    Blessings – Maxi

Your photo is a good example for your words. We are truly blessed.

  3. Good reminder, I’m extremely grateful for my freedom, it’s a highly prized part of my life.
